Standing on the former Maid of the Mist dock in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, the very day that Hornblower Niagara Cruises held their grand opening, here came the historic Maid of the Mist, actually from out of the mist. The serendipity of that moment symbolized to me, the perseverance of this legendary Maid of the Mist tour company and the people who worked to keep her alive.
